By: Carl A. Patton, Wed Mar 14th, 2007
Greetings Brethren: We declare that the African ancestry and/or culture for Blacks throughout the Diaspora is an important element in the quest for Unity and Pan-Africanism. However we cannot re-write history and restore what has been lost. No culture has remained the same when it has been displaced and removed from its initial environment. What is important is knowledge of our past history and not an attempt to live in the past. - Crisis Black Male: The Conscience of Guilt
By: Carl A. Patton, Wed Mar 14th, 2007
As the economic institution of bondage and captivity became a reality in America, the conscience of America and the world contemplated and conceived the ungodly human injustice of servitude. The rise of the Christians to combat this blemish on humanity also produced the religious zealots who blindly excluded the people from “The Land of The Blacks” as creatures of God. Out of this confusion came the Quakers who led the way for the White Abolitionist Movement. Then came the benevolence of the philanthropists to ease the conscience of the capitalists and to continue aspects of control. - Concerned Citizen, Witness, or Snitch?

The media play an integral role in the way the world perceives America, especially young black men. It’s been said, if you say something enough times, it will become true. Therefore, it is important to put the media on notice when they start to propagate negative stereotypes.

Speech!…
By: Paul Darch, Thu Mar 1st, 2007
Well you might be able to take some comfort in knowing that you aren’t the only one. The father of the bride and the best man are also expected to make a speech. There are no hard and fast rules as to when the speeches should take place. Traditionally they take place after the last course of your wedding breakfast, i.e. the wedding reception meal .The first person to speak should be the father of the bride, then the groom, and the best man. They traditionally follow each other, to allow the festivities to continue with the cutting of the cake.
